Handmade Hangouts are craft nights made for connection. We pop up at some of your favorite local spots throughout Kennewick, Richland, and Pasco with fun, beginner-friendly projects and everything you need to make them.

Our calendar changes every month, with new crafts to try and new places to discover. Grab your friends, plan a girls’ night, bring a date, or come on your own. You don’t have to be “crafty” to join us—you just have to be ready to make something and have a little fun along the way.

What Makes a Handmade Hangout?

  • A New Project Every Time: Our projects are always changing, from seasonal décor and mixed-media art to mosaics, glass art, painting, and crafts you may have never tried before.
  • Beginner Friendly—Really: You don’t need artistic talent or crafting experience. Our projects are designed to be approachable, fun, and something you’ll actually be proud to take home.
  • Hosted Around the Tri-Cities: Instead of coming to one studio, you’ll find Handmade Hangouts popping up at local breweries, restaurants, plant shops, bookstores, and other small businesses throughout the Tri-Cities.
  • Everything You Need Is Included: We bring the project, supplies, tools, and instruction. You bring yourself—and maybe a friend or three.
  • More Than a Craft Night: The project gives us something to make, but the hangout is the whole point. It’s a chance to put down your phone, catch up with friends, meet new people, laugh a little, and do something creative together.

We take care of the project, supplies, registration, promotion, instruction, setup, and cleanup. You provide the space and take care of your guests while they’re there.
